She lost her pregnancy, and is now suing both her ex, and Rebecca Gomperts, founder of Aid Access, a nonprofit that provides access to medication abortion by mail, for wrongful death. In DC, Black people are everywhere. Some people who are naturally afraid of Black people find the "Black everywhere" situation uncomfortable and choose to characterize it as a feeling of being unsafe. DC has a lower crime rate than most large cities but a higher Black population.
